https://news.****************/artic...kes-Streetz-945-Atlanta-Morning-Show-National

W233BF-FM (The Streetz 94.5)/Atlanta morning show, "The Streetz Morning Takeover," hosted by Hip Hop Atlanta reality show star Love and rapper Yung Joc, Shawty Shawty and Sue Solo is going national. The program will be distributed by Superadio is being added to stations in Charlotte, Norfolk and Albany, GA.

So this is interesting. We have an FM translator creating a radio show that it's syndicating around the country. From what I see, the translator has 185 watts, and gets its feed from the HD-3 of WSTR in Atlanta. So I guess they're leasing the HD. This reminds me of the LPTV station in Michigan that started a national news station that is syndicated as a Diginet. How to make something big out of something small.

I looked up the name of the network after reading your post. I checked out NewsNet, and it looks like a no-frills operation. It's all about the headlines.

The interesting thing about Metro New York affiliate WNWT-LD is that it is licensed to New York City, but calls itself a New Jersey station. Its brand is New Jersey News Network.
