According to the article, she'd have been 77 tomorrow and her family was gathered to celebrate that when she passed.Wow. I was just looking at celebrity birthdays and she was going to be 77 this week.
Yeah, she was great on Three's Company but unfortunately she got a bit overly demanding with her salary or got some bad advice, possibly from her agent. Three's Company featured more of an ensemble cast rather than any principle "star", yet when negotiations were up, she demanded a 5x increase in her salary and a cut of the show's profits which was not only declined by the studio, but it also angered her fellow actors on the program. After that her parts were greatly reduced and finally eliminated.I liked both shows and it was a shame things didn't work out with her on the first one.
Yes, her husband and agent made big demands. Somers was forced to film scenes alone (shown on a phone call). She was ultimately fired.According to the article, she'd have been 77 tomorrow and her family was gathered to celebrate that when she passed.

What does this have to do with Suzanne Somers, the person?I hate that on "Step by Step" they didn't mention what happened to her first husband. She could have told her daughter "Look how THAT turned out" if they had been divorced. I don't even remember what her daughter said which that would have been a response to.
And later they established she was divorced and her husband didn't treat her right.
Well, she said the line, or didn't say the line. What does this have to do with Suzanne Somers, the person?
I don't recall her having a single line in "American Graffiti".Somers was incredibly popular during the first few seasons of "Three' s Company". She also had memorable cameos in "American Graffiti" and "Magnum Force"...
That's why I said "Cameo". She was the "Girl in the Thunderbird" and had no lines. Her career had barely begun. People in Hollywood noticed her charisma from that scene...I don't recall her having a single line in "American Graffiti".
The T-bird was undoubtedly more popular than she was.
Maybe it is semantics but "memorable cameo" is a non sequitur. That's why I said "Cameo". She was the "Girl in the Thunderbird" and had no lines. Her career had barely begun. People in Hollywood noticed her charisma from that scene...
Who is we?We've known about her cancer for a long time. That's probably right.
Maybe chimp is actually Suzanne’s husband Alan Hamel…..Who is we?
The inventor of The Thigh Master? Somehow I doubt it. More likely a fan with posters of her all over his home.Maybe chimp is actually Suzanne’s husband Alan Hamel…..
