T & A Morning Show Moves to 104.1 from 96.1

Next Media decided to move the T & A Morning Show from 96.1 kzq to Wave 104.1. Reason is Wave 104.1 is 100,000 watts while 96.1 kzq is only 50,000 watts. With the move the stations still will play the same music, new rock on 96.1 and classic rock on 104.1.

To add the new 96.1 kzq isn't doing to big in ratings as the new rock station Rock 107 is over a few shares.
 
WYAV 104.1 is indeed 100,000 watts, but WKZQ 96.1 is not 50,000 watts: It is 8,500 watts. WKZQ transmits from the same Garden City tower as WYAV, but from 110 ft lower on the tower, and with only 1/12 the signal strength.
