Talk Radio 1210am WPHT To Be All Local; Smerconish To Be Live Noon-3pm

This is starting to remind me of the older incarnation of WPHT when it was WCAU before was it briefly all news. I do not live in Philly now, but that was long time ago, and this was before our family left the area for Oklahoma in 1976

Also, I think they're being a little loose with the definition of the word "local." Is a syndicated show with a Philadelphia-based host "local"?

I bet the new afternoon show will start at 3, and Smerconish will no longer do a Philadelphia-only hour.
 
Marketing language being a little "loose" with a definition? Wonders never cease. ;)
 
Others have told me that Smerconish was very interesting when his sole focus was Philly with a little national thrown in. The current national version is extremely boring. I listened for a few days. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.
