Talk Show Host Jerry Doyle to Broadcast from Las Vegas Casino

According to his flagship station's website, KDWN, in Las Vegas, syndicated talk show host Jerry Doyle (former commander of a cardboard spaceship on the TV Show "Babylon 5") will do a "First Friday" monthly broadcast from the Suncoast Casino Showroom in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hopefully Jerry will find adequate parking for his $200,000 Ascot Martini Car.

Hey Jerry are you going to buy a free buffet for us "little people?"

Why I posted it?

I don't have a life? It is a conspiracy to distract from the Rush stuff? Jerry Doyle said he would buy me a buffet if I promoted his show in a sneaky way?

I thought it was interesting that someone was getting out of the studio and broadcasting at a hotel casino like in the old days when many radio stations were based in hotels.

I know some people who think Rush Limbaugh started talk radio in the 80's don't realized that people like IRA BLUE was broadcasting live from the "Hungry Eye" night club in San Francisco with a call-in talk show back in the 1960's.

I thought it was interesting that a national host was doing something a little different to meet the public and support local businesses. To each his own, some people like: "Democrats=Bad, Republicans=Good" or "Democrats=Good, Republicans=Bad talk" radio.

But thank you for your feedback. I hope my next post meets your standards.

It is interesting to note that a host is broadcasting from a Casino.

But what the hell is a Ascot Martini?

The buffet at Suncoast is getting expensive. I miss the good old days when you could eat at Circus Circus for $1.99/person...a time when scrambled eggs were served as a brick.....

Maybe it is an Aston Martin Car? and not an Ascot Martini... but I know it takes up 2 or 3 parking spaces and is considered an "environmental hate crime on wheels" by some environmentalists.
