Tampa Ratings August 2024

Nothing much to say except the Q still sucks. Still in 15th place.

But that Vibe, though. Still hanging in the Top 5, despite their lousy cume.

Q105 seems to have been in a slow but steady ratings decline for at least the past year and a half. Maybe most of the audience they had previously had followed Mason Dixon over the years and since he’s gone, they are slowly pulling away, realizing that today’s Q105 has little in common with the legendary powerhouse it once was.

You'd think in a market with many retirees, you'd see higher ratings for a Classic Hits station. But maybe they're all listening to The Dove, which plays nothing from this century, unlike most Soft AC stations which play some 2000s and even an occasional soft current hit.

Absolutely. Those who like pop classic hits are on The Dove, and those who like rock classic hits are on The Eagle. I actually like both.
