Tampa Ratings September 2025 - WDAE Trends Up To 13th Place

Joy gets closer to the Dove, with the Eagle not far behind. WDAE goes from 1.9 to 2.6 to 3.0, good enough for a 13th place tie with Rumba and FLZ. Meanwhile, 98 Rock drops a full point - and they have the Bucs broadcasts! And the Shark is in 18th place awaiting the K-Love sale.

The Bone is pretty much neck and neck with Q105 now.
Other notable events Iheart stations are going through another round of layoffs.
An Iconic voice of 933FLZ is fired after 17 years on mid-day Katie Sommers.
To be honest she was a bit overdue only in my opinion.

Call letters mean NOTHING in this case. If WDAE sports was put on a full market FM signal, then you’d see them really challenge competitors like 102.5 for the same male demographic.

Again for the 1000th time, 6+ numbers mesn nothing. The Bone and Q are NOT neck and neck in their respective targeted demographics. What is notable from these numbers is The Dove continues to lose total audience…. But alas Christmas is near and everything gets reset with DUV and MTX pulling the usual stunts for 40+ days.

Very well said, sir. Those numbers indeed only measure total audience, irrespective of demographics. Your conclusion on that basis cannot be challenged.

I'm sure someone will accept that as a challenge.

Let them try. There are plenty of us here to shoot down any attempts to prove otherwise (and if anyone doesn't know who we are by now, they are operating with blinders on).
