Move sports WDAE from 620 and the 95.3 translator to the 95.7 signal. After the audience has moved, put classic country on AM 620 and 95.3 as "Sun Country" filling a format hole in the market plus selling it with new country US-103.5. I know I know.... the WSUN call letters are over on 97.1... that doesn't matter. Leave the WDAE-AM calls on 620 with imaging as Sun Country 620 and 95.3 and change 95.7 to WDAE-FM with the sports and hot talk now covering the entire market on FM.

I believe that 95.7 the Beat would be better off switching to Classic Hip Hop to compete with WTBV for the urban 25 plus numbers.

If they cared about getting the adult urban audience, they wouldn’t have adjusted their format younger in the first place, thereby creating the hole which WTBV filled. They obviously felt going after WLLD was more important. Although that’s not working out too well for them.

That’s a fun idea. But “Sun Country” died in 1988. The audience who listened back then for the most part are way out of the desirable demos today.
