Looks like the translator may be helping WDAE? Thunder, on the other hand, losing steam gradually.

Cox owns 4 of the top 5 stations. They gotta be happy about that. I remember a time with Cox was the biggest joke of a radio group on this Tampa Bay board. On the other hand, I'm of the opinion that CBS should seriously consider shifting Wild 94.1 to a "today's rhythm and old school throwbacks" from the late 80's and 90's type format. Back away from the kiddie FLZ / HOT battle and re-image with the audience they had when they started at 98.7. As far as 98 Rock.... wow, that's pretty impressive. I'm in shock that the last month wasn't a mistake. AND as for 98.7 The Fan, looks to me like they're continuing to give reason to for folks to turn to WDAE. I don't think the 95.3 translator is giving the pop... I think it's the Rays and the upcoming football season.

As posted previously it looks as though the Fan's 98.7 problem with ratings in more than just the signal; especially when 92.5, sister station and mirror image signal is doing well by comparison. WDAE with the Ray's, Bucs and the Lightning have the trump card.

Also interesting to see how close WQYK and WFUS are in ratings over the last several months; interesting enough I was in a business today in north central St. Pete that choose neither and instead usually has WCTQ 106.5 on.
