Part time, on special assignments:

KOMO also picked up Jim Forman as a behind the scenes assignment manager immediately after he took (was forced to take?) the KING buy out. I wonder if his health will ever allow him to get back in front of the camera full time again.
Allen Schauffler is also at KOMO for Olympics coverage. Don't know what kind of contract he's on.
Interesting to see Sinclair gobbling up the talent in this market. KIRO has also upgraded a bit with a second evening anchor team in Dave Wagner and Siemny Kim.
Watched the market yesterday. KOMO looks real good. KCPQ has a nice look and good anchors. KIRO has a nice set, but could use live active backdrops. KING...well I think there is work to do here. At times it looks like they are doing a newscast from the interior of a 7-11.
I agree, Dave Wagner is a nice addition to KIRO. Very strong anchor, and you can tell he has been doing this for awhile.
