The Bay Area's All News KCBS is Going to FM... So I Shall Ask The Obvious...

Will Roy and company at the Wilshire complex soon follow suit with one of its two newsers?

Also is San Francisco now the largest market with an all-news on FM?

Knowing what the obvious two answers will be my question would be why? Especially since you pretty much fired half you staff last week.

What I WOULD like to see is an AM/FM All-news combo that would focus on headline news that would be geared to a yonger dem, say 25-49. Both could simulcast, unless there is a breaking news story like a major fire, Presidential speech, etc. The AM would do the full coverage with analysis and such, while the FM updates along with thier regular coverage.

If CBS won't do that, maybe someone else would.
