THE BEAT AHEaD OF 955, AMP, FRESH AND MAGIC ON AUGUST'S RATINGS!

Still have a bit to go to reach DVD, which will become part of Cumulus very soon... since DVD already fits Cumulus' standards they won't have to change the format any but expect more layoffs, syndicated and/or satellite programming :)

What about Doug? Will Doug go on a "Journey" in the near future? Knowing Cumulus, they've been rolling out that format in many markets now...

I doubt they'd put Journey on WDRQ, as it would conflict with WDVD too much. They also would probably like Doug since it's pretty cheap to run.

Journey is on a translator in Atlanta, a station in Pensacola, and in Cincinnati, just for the record.

I just had to re-visit this topic to throw this out there...

Seeing that Cumulus placed WMAL in DC on FM105.9 yesterday, and it's such a hot trend nationwide...

WJR 760 and 93.1?

I believe Channel 955s rating will boost. Their night guy Jag is even improving. He has better topics like former 955 before Buda. But I think he needs to open up more and add to the conversation with callers like Big-Boy used to do and most on air djs.

If WJR is going to be on 760 and 93.1, why not move the WDRQ calls/branding to 96.3 then? :)

Country could also work on 93.1, since WYCD really could use some competition (I know CC's 106.7 failed with Country, but would 93.1 fare any better?)...
