On the News/Talk board, a poster citing "someone who should know" claims that Fred Thompson is leaving his daily radio show. His radio show is based in D.C. and airs on WHFS-AM, a.k.a. "The Big Talker 1580". In fact, I think the only station carrying it might be WHFS.
This on the heels of Michael Smerconish announcing that he is ending his daily morning show. He will continue his afternoon show, which airs live at 12 noon - the same exact time Fred Thompson does his show. So I suppose if Fred's departure is true, they could switch the airtimes of three of their shows and air them all live - imagine that! Dennis Miller can move from 3 PM to 10 AM, Smerconish at noon, and Lou Dobbs up from tape delay at 6 PM to live at 2 PM.
What do all eight listeners of "The Big Talker 1580" think about this?
