Lou Waters has come up with a definitive book on BobbyDale. For anyone who knew Bobby, or ever listened to Bobby, this is a good read. As I recall, Bobby cracked the microphone at KFRC, I think as the first jock on the air with rock 'n roll, and at KEWB, KSAN, KSFO, KTIM, KKCY and KOFY. He was on a number of stations in L.A. as well. Bobby took some getting used to, but once you did, you were hooked. There is a lot of audio, mostly from KSFO at this website. http://www.haveigotasongforyou.com/ The audio is free. The book is worth the 22 bucks.
