The Burner, Mary Turner of KMET Fame Has Passed

For those of you that remember the late, great 94.7 KMET in Los Angeles, former DJ The Burner, Mary Turner has passed away. She was married to Norm Pattiz, a radio legend in his own right. Norm passed away last year.

Very sad to hear of this. She was always very relatable, low key, on air. Definitely an asset to KMET. A Who-ya to ya, Mary!

The “Burner” Mary Turner was from an era/timeframe that will always be remembered fondly by those who lived it.

I have two clips of Mary and Paraquat doing the "Fish Report With A Beat".

Such a warm, memorable and unique sliver in time that sadly will never be duplicated.

Whoo ya.
