"The Coming Devaluation of AM and FM Radio"

Quoting blogs, what a waste. When you start quoting Ms. Cleo let me know.

Yea, if it's anti-IBOC, it's a waste of time ! tested, I would be interested, if RS was using the long-wire antenna, or had the supplied 7-foot dipole antenna hidden somewhere !

OK, I'll take you at face value. I bought my receptor in Paramus NJ. Paramus is a NY suburb and I had no problem hearing every IBOC station with the small attached wire (No Dipoles when I purchased my radio), in the store. Paramus is about 20 miles from NYC. Where did you go to look at an IBOC radio and how far was it from the stations you tried to listen to. As a matter of fact, I'm listening to WPLJ HD 2 at the moment (All 70's playing Sniff & Tears, Drivers seat as I type this). The signal is rock solid, stereo and I am about 25 miles from the city at my QTH. You should buy the radio, with a consent to return it if it doesn't work. Mine does.

Since you are not in Manhattan, does that make you a hick?
Perhaps near Hicksville, Long Island?

Perhaps if you are wrong again. By the way you obviously didn't understand or wished not to understand the point I was making (and not pointing to the one on your head). I would try to dumb it down for you but you aren't worth my time.
