The continuing story of Bungalow Bill.....er, Jeff Roper

Makes one wonder if they refused to renew his contract at an overly inflated salary or he was accused of sexual dsicrimination like at WSOC.

I have never met Jeff Roper, and I can only assume that this is the same Jeff Roper, who is the son of Jack Roper.
If the above is correct, I would like to say this about large salaries. I agree with them, as long as their ratings can justify.
If you are delivering the numbers, then you are paying for yourself,...and more. Personally, I know nothing of him.
However, Professionally, he is Prime Air Talent....Extremely Good on the air!

NC and SC radio personality JEFF ROPER has resigned from WTQR as of today. Thoughts?

i have seen many personalites move on. not the right fit for them. i am always glad to see them in their new career choices.

The last time I saw Jeff was back in the late 90's when he was still at WCOS at the state fair. Other then having him on Facebook as a friend the last time I really got to talk to him was back when we both were in public speaking class and shared homeroom together at Spartanburg HS... Kinda scary how he came so far in the radio world... No matter what happens to him he seems to always wind up somewhere in radio no matter if it is a small market station or a larger market... CC1

Worked with Jeff and really liked him. I know some people have had issues, but not me. He was always great to work with...funny, creative, talented and supportive.
