Why not tell the truth? You have already post what you say is the truth on the SF board? If what you say is true, post something that can prove what you say.

SELL THE NUMBERS WORKS FOR CLEAR CHANNEL SF.. HE'S CRYING BECAUSE A NEW CBS STATION COULD PUT THE DOG HOUSE ON IN SF. [EDIT]

[EDIT-inflammatory]

This person claims to work for CBS Free Fm NY on the SF Board. Only problem is that he said and I quote "O&E SHOW". Someone that works for Free FM NY would never call the "Major Talent" by the wrong name. Nice try sell the numbers. Next time do some more work and find out that it is the O & A show. Not the Opie and Eddy show.

Here is a video that I took in '04 of some Doghouse in the studio at 94.9

Thanks that was great stuff. All kinds of stuff is going on with JV and Elvis right now and they are at war with Opie and Anthony. Some of the best radio on Free Fm in a long time.

Yes and add in the point that they (THE DOGHOUSE) had a tour going in 1994 and they had some big names .

WiLD 94.9 & the DOGHOUSE brought you 'another' hilarious night of fun & comedy! It was the SOLD OUT Doghouse Comedy Jam featuring Cain Lopez, Willie Barcena, David Chapell, Jamie Foxx, Pablo Francisco, Eddie Griffin, and out FAVORITE CARLOS MENCIA! It all went down August 24th, 2002 @ the Shoreline in Mountain View

Maybe Dopie and the Tin Man should look at the names.

the last post was to prove that the Doghouse had this going on way before Opie and Anthony.

the DOGHOUSE is the greatest show ever!!! jeff and dan need to come back to SF!! we miss them and need them -- this T-Man NOBODY is terrible!! CBS needs to flip a switch, how hard can it be! WE WANT THE DOGHOUSE!

JV and Elvis are begging to go back to SF since they suck in NYC. They are the biggest complainers. If O&A wants to stay late, let show with the bigger rating stay on the air.

JV and Elvis need to go back to SF with their head down in shame.

Just like when Dopie and the tin man got fired at WNEW? They were running all over the place to find work. Well that did not happen for 2 years.

FYI Dopie and the tin man ha ha... ha ha... (mind if I borrow that, I will be a hit at the next cocktail party) were not allowed to work for those two years because they were under contract... it was pretty widley reported... you must have missed it...

That is correct they were not allowed to work anywhere for 2 years. And they knew each day that they were away from radio would be it harder to get back the fans. So what was the major NY radio station that picked them up after the 2 years? Oh that's right not one of them wanted anything to do with them. So they go to XM, and really do not have a major listener base on XM. They got the deal because DLR tanked at WFNY and WFNY needed something bad and fast. Also it was done to piss off Stern, Dopie and The Tin Man at his home flagship station in his own studio.

RE: O/A

Morning drive in NYC = not too shabby.
Syndicated throughout the country and on XM = not too shabby

Personally, I'm not compelled to keep listening, but I respect what they've been able to accomplish.

Same goes for the Doghouse - I haven't been excited by their content lately, but respect their success in SF, and the fact that they've convinced CBS to give 'em a shot in NYC.

Both shows could benefit from a bit of humbling and a return of the energy which helped launched their success. Both shows appear to have fallen victim to their egos.

The difference that I see is that The Doghouse was Number 1 for 10+ years in SF. O & A can claim that in any market, for 10 years. So I give the respect to JV and Elvis. Middays and Morning Drive are different worlds, I think O & A know this and know how hard it is to do good in NY. They always talk about Howard taking the money, but that is what they did also coming back to the company that fired them and made sure they were out of radio for 2 years.

Where do all the Free-FM shows broadcast from? I remember K-Rock's studios being kind of cramped and I find it hard to imagine that all the shows have personal studios like the O&A/Stern studio.

I head a rumour that Penn Jillette broadcasts from his house. The Free-FM website says he lives in Las Vegas.

For NY's Free FM, O&A, The Dog House and The RadioChick all broadcast from Stern's old studio. (This used to be different when the station started... Booker and I think The Dog House was broadcasting from a smaller studio.) I think the same goes for when they play music too. Penn Jillette broadcasts from his house in Vegas and Jim Cramer... I know he's not in the Free FM studios, but I'm not sure where he's doing it from.

My guess is it emanates from the same New Jersey studio where he does his CNBC show...

If memory serves me correct, The Dog House was the first show to broadcast from Stern's old studios. I think DLR had his own studio. Chick and Booker probably broadcasted and still do from the old Stern and current Free FM studio.

O&A, JV and Elvis and the Radio Chick all broadcast out of the new studio. Which really is Stern's Old Studio that they redid for DLR. He wanted a window.
