They simple want to have the best ratings, and then have the rest of the station suffer to make them look like they are the station.
Do you think O and A want Free Fm to succeed?

I agree with you. It's time that all the show work together to get the station ratings, not just their own shows. If they work together this might just work. Funny WFNY 92.3 is being talked about all over the place and on all the message boards. This to me is a sign of things are turning around. O&A and the rest of the shows should work together.

You are 100% correct. I have decided that it is time for all the shows on 92.3 to work together. I know that O&A have done well and have good ratings. The Doghouse has just increased their numbers also. So with some help from the station and all the shows doing it together, that might be the best mix for all. I am one to let things die right here and right now so that both shows have a better chance. WFNY is not doing well at all with a total 1.3 share. It time to bridge the gap and make it happen together.
All the best

Tony, if you think this is the case, it starts with YOU. Rather than using your posts to belittle O/A and pimp the Doghouse, be proactive and discuss how great both shows are.
Same goes for the Doghouse...tuck your tail between your legs and don't sweat it if O/A run late. The more of a bridge the two shows can build between each other the more likely each show's cume will be to support the other show. Right now, both shows seem to be encouraging their audience not to support the other show.
Be the bigger dog.

People aren't listening to JV and Elvis. O&A aren't going to promote a show that directly competes against not only their XM show, but also the show that follows them on XM.
Also, O&A aren't going to lie to their fans and endorse a show they aren't fans of. It's already been established that O&A aren't big Chick fans, but they haven't said word one about Leslie Gold. As for JV and Elvis, that's a problem.
Word Life said:What percentage of O and A listeners on Free FM go to XM? It's not the majority. So the rest of them that are loyal listeners tune out because O and A can't stand them.
And even for XM subscribers, why couldn't they tune back into Free FM when the XM show is over. Two more hours of The Dog House.
Word Life said:It doesn't matter if they don't like each other, but you have to be a moron to think that loyal O and A listeners would turn in the Dog House.
I suspect the attitude your describing relates to why they are no longer at their old station. That type of self-centered egotism becomes a cancer and brings the whole station down. If your statement is true, the Doghouse are NOT team players and deserve what they will eventually get. Team players don't want anyone on the team to fail. Team players want the OTHER team to fail.Word Life said:You think The Dog House really wants O and A to succeed? No, they want them to tank. But they suck it up on the air, like team players and give them respect. Dont you think they secretly want Radio Chick to fail, so they can take her slot? Of course, but they still promote her and say tune in.

I guess I'm a moron, because I don't understand why they can't reach the same audience? The publicized animosity between the two shows has made each show the enemy. Otherwise, there shouldn't be a problem, if both shows are entertaining. O/A may bring their loyalist listeners to XM, but the subs for XM remain relatively low in the grand scheme of things.
