The Doghouse with JV and Elvis WFNY 92.3 Free Fm

Hey Sell The Numbers.....Guess what? JV and Elvis have resigned at 92.3 FreeFm WFNY. I guess you really had a good inside source.

Management must have been pretty ashamed because we barely got an e-mail annoucing it.
Not even a line in the Daily or Post acknowleging it. Whoopdeedo.

Speaking of looking like morons, the Doghouse's fanbase did a wonderful job of it tonight on R&F's show.

I heard the sweeper with the fake-indian voice calling in and pranking other radio shows. Unless you've got a black woman and a stutterer and it's 1992, it's hack, it's played, and it doesn't make me want to listen.

Star I agree that some of the fans are out of control. The Dog House does not have a problem with the other shows, but they do with one of them. That would be the Radio Chick show, because one of those morons called the Dog House fans idiots. So I agree with you, these should leave the other WFNY shows alone. With that said, Ron and Fez handled it well as did Nick a few weeks ago.

So with all this said, Dog house fans have been told not to attack other shows. Well that is but one, The Radio Bitch show. This comes down to the fact that the RADIO CHICKS BITCH BUTCH will not say he sorry for being an a-hole and not saying sorry. He called the Dog House fans idiots. Well Butch, it's up to you to stop the BS.
 
Rating came out today and most of the shows at WFNY 92.3 FreeFM were down or flat. O & A even took a major hit down. One show moved up 30% and that would be the Dog House with JV and Elvis.

These numbers come from the place that makes the numbers. So it might even be higher next week when they do the numbers for the hours. It might even come close to 40% higher.

Slow down. Show me an article, something that shows they've had growth.

I don't see how Doghouse had such major growth when a quarter of their ratings are tied to O&A - and yet O&A had a bad book. It doesn't make sense unless Doghouse had explosive growth, which REALLY doesn't make sense.

Oh please.......O & A tanked and everyone knows it. Every board has posted it and now The Dog House with JV and Elvis post a 30% grow and you say it's from O&A . What the hell is wrong with you people. They have posted these numbers because of one simple fact.....They are growing the fan base. All the other shows on WFNY were down or flat and The Dog House comes in with a30% up rate.....Makes you wonder. What is the best show on WFNY these days......With that in mind remember that the Dog House ruled SF for 10 years with 10+ numbers even kicking Sterns ass in SF. So with that said what makes you think that they can not come to NY and rule as well? What a joke, your O & A are tanking and you want to say that other shows are taking the numbers....please. O & A's job at WFNY is to get people to listen and not to have them listen on XM, that is what they are being paid for. End of story.............The Dog House is showing the numbers and the "BIG" show is not......Ranked 21 in the morning slot sucks and everyone knows it. DLR was 22nd......What has changed?
 
I guess The Dog House should thank O and A--after all, they do plug them, tell people to listen and mention Elvis and Jv over and over.

That last Dog House appearance on Leno and Letterman must've helped a lot too...

You are just the ulimate O and A apologist. Like it was stated a million times, Howard brought his station up. O and A have not so far.

No, O and A fans don't listen to Free FM if they have XM, but they aren't listening either when they are on Free FM. O and A would love to have great ratings on terrestrial radio. Don't you think O and A wants to have high numbers in the morning, so they can get soul credit for bringing a station back from the dead, or in this case, just straight from the dead.

I even read on the other board they had the same sized audience as Radio Chick? If that's true...how sad is that.

That's a major problem...for sure. When they signed a deal with WFNY they signed a deal to bring in the listeners from XM. If they did not follow and they are still listening on XM that hurts the deal they signed for sure. CBS is paying them big money to move listeners or get new ones to listen 6-9am and if they are only 21st in the morning ratings well that sucks for both CBS and O & A.
 
Guys...if O&A were that great, they would already be #1. They are not a new show in this area. There time has passed here in NY. They're even getting booted from other big cities. They should just cut their FM losses and go back to XM only. And when they do that, they shouldn't do mornings either, because Howard is kicking their asses in the ratings.
