The Felon's Ratings Are Sure To Go Up Now

A few weeks ago, the Boston Globe Magazine's Charlie Pierce opined on the programming he heard on WTKKK-FM 969; the upshot: he didn't care for it all that much, and besides, their ratings were in the toilet! Oooops...a few days later, the Boston Arbs came out, and the station vaulted up into the top 5 12-and-over! Today (May 11th) Charlie weighs in on more radio he doesn't like...in this case, Tom (The Felon) Finneran on WRKO. Read his brief screed at:

I made the mistake of putting on WRKO before 10 am and heard a "bumper" featuring a caller who said that Finneran was like the glory days of WRKO
with Jerry Williams, Paul Benzaquin, and Gene
Burns. Gag me! Fair bet that those 3 got MUCH
higher ratings...

OMG! raccoon! I heard that same bumper with the caller praising the felon for bringing back radio, the caller compared the felon to Jerry Williams and Gene Burns, Jerry must be rolling over in his grave.
