The Life Of A Middle Of Nowhere PD, Stardate 934556.65: Lots of special programming and events coming up in the next few weeks on KSKO so I had to write up and schedule Facebook posts for that along with posting the info on our local online McGrath message board.

I also had to schedule reminders in my phone to make sure I put the satellite feeds in for the appropriate times for AK. Federation Of Natives Convention Coverage Thu, Fri & Sat this week. I also had to set reminders for me to remember to host an abbreviated morning show at a different time then usual and also reminders for putting in the satellite feed for some statewide debates and election coverage

I also scheduled Facebook posts to remind people to get their KSKO board of directors election ballots in and our annual meeting this weekend.

I'm not a very organized person and the harder I try, the more I forget.. so reminders for everything, however quick or inconsequential is important to me. I'm only one person and right now, have no one else here during the day to remind me... so I can't fuq this up.

Nice! And maybe this same old white guy will show up to the Alaskan Federation Of Natives Convention and tell them, while standing on indigenous land in Alaska, that the natives (or "Indians" as he calls them) need to be "sent home" or to sanctuary cities in the same spirit as the governors of FL and TX have done. They can also answer his query as to why his Anglo children who were born in Alaska shouldn't also be considered "natives", per his interpretation of the word. In fact, just for fun, the AFN should invite him to speak.

If something is worth doing I put it on the board with the due date. I work on the nearest due date first. Only once since 2020 did I get everything erased. I should have done the "happy dance" because the next day it was full again. Always something to do.

I have reminders on my phone which I sometimes swipe away and forget. For me personally the best is an old fashion white board in a prominent place. If something is worth doing I put it on the board with the due date. I work on the nearest due date first. Only once since 2020 did I get everything erased. I should have done the "happy dance" because the next day it was full again. Always something to do.

The alarms on my phone are set to alarm every minute and I NEVER swipe them away/clear them until ive done that.

Wouldnt trade my job though, I love it here.. its tough somedays personally and professionaly... but gosh, its a FUN adventure for me
