The Likely Acquisition of Sirius XM by Liberty Media

The intention of Liberty Media to take over the satellite radio broadcaster in the near future could be significant to New York radio, as many local personalities have jobs there.
Though Liberty has revealed little about their intentions, I imagine there is a reasonable possibility that the Sirius XM headquarters and studios may be moved out of their expensive digs in midtown Manhattan. Liberty is based in Colorado. Of course they could still maintain some studios in this area, for such stars as Howard Stern.
I wonder whether they more likely to make significant investments in expanding the satcaster's programming, leave it alone, or make major budget cuts. It is also unclear whether Mel Karmazin would remain the CEO.
Sirius XM has achieved a measure of success in recent years after much investment and effort. Perhaps that will cause Liberty to be reluctant to make drastic changes, or to oust Mel.
