Last week the Rock 92 morning show spent a good deal of time talking about a TV spot, done by the Wolf morning show for a local bank. They played the audio of the commercial and made fun of them for a few minutes. What's everyone's
take these days on mentioning competing shows and stations?
 
I'm sure that Rock 92 was counting on The Wolf's morning team to react and swap cume back and forth like they use to before Jeff Whicker left Simon. Didn't the Wolf beat Rock 92 in the last ratings?
 
Other than the fact that the Wolf's morning show mentions their names on the TV spot and even talking about it points Rock 92 listeners to the TV commercial and to the Wolf. I've seen the TV commercial during NASCAR and Football games...pretty clear who it is to me.

Guess Rock 92 doesn't have High Point Bank on the air! If they did, I'm sure the Morning Team would hear about that bit! Won't be the first time those guys have stepped in it!!!

Can this be compared to "The Jay Leno Show"? It seems that ABC and CBS (and others) do not wish to have their stars appear on Jay's show and discuss their network shows which compete against Jay at the 10pm hour.

I know I am getting away from the radio subject a little bit, I just want to see if this is the correct comparison. Thanks!
