the most memorable moment in sports radio 2009?

FSR's total abject annihilation at the hands of the CC bean-counters, merging it with KLAC/Los Angeles, firing Andrew Siciliano, Crystal Fernandez, Craig Shemon, James Washington, Ben Maller and Karen Kay. Placing Dan Patrick in a midday clearance, and "Fox Sports Soup" a clipdown show hosted by Sam Betesh, a insipid no-name show producer. Plus, major FSR affiliates like WDFN/Detroit and WCKY/Cincinnati fired virtually all of their local on-air talent (even though WDFN has reclaimed some local presence, they did not renew the Pistons PBP rights... so it's tough going now.)

Not connected to this is the return of Tony Bruno to FSR via Content Factory, which also produces Dan Patrick's show... so now 9 hours out of FSR's normal broadcast day are not actually produced by the network itself. And yes, Big Ben Maller returned. JT got shuffled into a dead zone known as overnights, and now Czabe will be gone. :(
