The Networks of NBCU aren't the only ones that are going green on Earth Week...

The Networks of Comcast are joining in as well, because They're showing their green on G4, Versus, E!, GolfTV, & Style. And apparently, The "Green is Universal" campaign is now spreading everywhere.

CMIIW but as Comcast bought NBCU they are one in the same.

If they really wanted to go green, they could shut off altogether. Think of all the electricity they'd save, and I doubt it would affect ratings much.

Well, at least nobody has to worry about the Celtics getting eliminated from the playoffs at the moment, so they should be around for Green Week... ::)

Nothing was different on Versus hockey coverage, though once it becomes "NBC Versus" or similar it probably will for future Green Weeks...

Well, since GolfTV & Versus are now underneath NBC Sports' Umbrella, I might have a strong doubt NBC might rename those two sports channels; GolfT would be renamed NBC Golf, while Versus will now carry the NBC Sports Channel-Just like CBS did with The CBS College Sports Network-as it dropped the college out of its name to focus much more on its parent company's additional sports coverage of The NFL, and The NCAA.

No; that was to try and position it to get it in more cable homes.

P.S. I would call Versus "NBC Versus" for a couple years then rename it to "NBC Sports Network" or similar – phase in the NBC connection first while maintaining the brand it HAS built up since the name change from OLN.
