The info I am aware of is that this Dr. Dick is (was?) an actual Mass Comm educator who is just ready to get back to his first love.
The Stone half, sorry I did get actual names, has done mornings back in the 80's+, GM, PD, MD, all that. It was by invitation
of this Dr. Dick guy that Stone agreed to consider getting on the air. It appears that both are experienced, but not recently.

Maybe that's not such as bad thing. I dunno, again they sounded like they clicked and knew what it took to get their points and humor across in a manner that could compete just fine for local live. I would still like to know more, sorry.

I heard another interesting wrinkle on the Dick & Stone issue this morning. Cumulus is looking for a MM and Stone managed a number
of top rated stations and the 99X format seems to be the niche they prefer over Classic Rock. I really don't know how this
would effect Q100, though. Could kill two birds with one Stone? Get it? Bad, bad joke. Actually, they would massively
help these stations if they have any common sense. My source still says 96Rock was the first contact point, but somehow
through the Little Rock market, 99X/Q100 may have come into play. Rodney, do you have any info? Merlin, i wouldn't be googlin'
that name (or Stone) in the office either. Sorry, again to have just bits and pieces on this. It may be nothing, but I wanted
to get info to those interested, even if it was sparse.

I heard the new morning x today do a new game that "they came up with". It was called "Steakhouse or Gay Bar". It sounds very silmilar to a game that Whip plays on the Buzz called "Steakhouse or Gay Bar". They played the same exact contest that Whip has done on the buzz over a year. I heard that Fram's husband records all of Whip's shows...why didn't he speak up in the show prep meeting?(I know he's not in the meetings...it's a joke)
Also, there's a picture of Monti Carlo with the morning x on 99x's Homepage. I don't get how this one time leader in a Major market is doing such small market mistakes?

And did these hundreds, let's just say thousands, nay lets say all radio stations, save for the Buzz, who obviously stole it, do it in the same market as someone else already had? And, to top if off, then go on the air saying "we just came up with this". Yeah, you're right. 99X is way in the clear Leslie, err, LeeAnne. I can't wait for tomorrow when they do War of the Roses. That should be good. What does that game entail again?

i know my station here in san francisco did that game, in fact sean demery worked here at the time, so its another idea he took with him to 99x..........
i have heard 3 other stations here in SF that have done it.
everyone knows its a common game, no one really cares that it was a stolen bit. its still a fun game....i dont know what war of the roses is.... sorry havent heard that one. why did you call me leslie?

The "Gay Bar or Steakhouse" wasn't much different than "Gay Porn or Tennis" which was done years ago on 99X. It's called recycling.... but it's nice when it is admitted and not called "a new idea" on air. That's just stupid.
