They will not have to spin anything else to do it. Dan Dubonnet will be the GM of the entire cluster. The Hall honchos also said NO changes are being planned...they look forward to owning the rock stations and want to only improve them. They will remain in the location and be run separately from the other 3. All staff is guaranteed their positions. Wow....now Hall has the #1, #2, #3 and #4 stations in Burlington. It's hard to be in the know when Arbitron doesn't release the ratings. But since you claim to be the expert, why not e-mail me the info? Check my profile...you know where to find me. I'm still having a hard time believing that Kool/Wizard/Buzz were 2/3/4.

Did I read this correctly? Buzz beat Star 25-54? Do adults prefer Audioslave to Fleetwood Mac now?
Of course, I can't say I'm completely surprised by the struggles of Star. I haven't heard their morning show (I don't live there anymore, and I don't get up before 10), but I'd have to imagine that having 7 hosts in 6 years is not a good way to build an audience. Then again, this is the same cluster that tries to compete against the X with 92.1 instead of 96.7, so perhaps the people in charge:
a) have little to no familiarity with the market and/or
b) have no clue how to win altogether.
IIRC, WEZF used to beat Triple X 12+ until the X started playing more rhythmic titles in 1998. The question is: Has WEZF been successful all these years because they're good, or because they're not bad? Is their success due to attrition?
