The Providence radio board has been very quiet as of late, but I stumbled upon the fact that The Public's Radio simulcast on WELH-88.1 had ended on September 30th, being replaced in the immediate Providence area by translator 102.9, using a crazy directional pattern from PRO-FM's tower, with 1290 WPVD-AM as the main station.
How is the 102.9 signal working in comparison to 88.1? Is it hitting the areas that 89.3 is missing?
