The REDS are on the RA-DI-O

As in how? I personally think they're a good listen.
I remember thinking how much I would miss Marty after he retired, and I can't speak for anyone else but I really haven't. He was ready to go and he's remained around just enough. Tommy Thrall was a solid hire and even though I don't like Cowboy's play-by-play all that much, he's still a good listen. Glad Chris Welsh is still on radio now and then too.

I can’t stand “The Reds are on the radio” jingle. Tommy and Brantley are too much shills. There lacks the honesty of Marty and Joe. Baseball has not been fun for me since Joe died.

Would Thom Brennaman lend credibility? I heard him on LW this morning. I think that he would sound more natural in the booth.

If Thom were in there who would be his partner? Cowboy? Welsh? Someone else???

I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't see him going back unless he wants to stop doing mornings on 700 ... and John Sadak wishes to reduce his schedule (which I don't see someone as young as he is doing quite yet). Marv Albert went back to network TV after his issues, after all, so that redemption could happen to anyone.
I think Thom did roughly 100 games in his years with the Reds but I think that was mostly because of his Fox duties. If he were on TV, it stands to reason he would work with both Brantley and Welsh at some point.
