The results of FREE-FM.. Sooo many losers few winners

With FREE-FM now out of it's misery- let's look at who wins and loses.

WINNERS

WRFF- WYSP seems to be sticking with a more "Active" sound which will eat away at some of WMMR's core, making WRFF even stronger!

WYSP part-timers- Hopefully a few will get elevated to full-time status.

LOSERS(SO many)

WMMR- They were the only game in town a year ago and now will probably be dragged out of the top ten after mornings.

KIDD CHRIS- Even though he did well and had the only ratings at WYSP, they fired his staff and may make him play music. Look for him on Howard 100 very soon.

OPIE AND ANTHONY- Kept their jobs because of a contract- not numbers. They look like they may never make it against Preston&Steve- look for them to be gone after contract.

SCOTTY&ALEX- WHO???

PIERRE- Now with 2 rock stations playing MUSIC- will his hippy-chat about Karma attract anyone?

BARSKY- Need I say more?

You might throw Matt and Huggy into the list of winners. they started out as DJ's and were thrown into the talk format when FREE-FM came along and were surprisingly successful at it. as a result, they shouldn't have a problem landing another gig doing mornings somewhere. they even announced on their message board that they will be doing a podcast during the down time and already hinting that things are in the works to be back on the air somewhere else. soon
 
MMR is THE best rock station EVER!, NOTHING is going to change that!
