The Screwed up Priorites of the Connecticut News Stations

The Connecticut News Stations have screwed up priorities. 3 of the 4 channels - NBC 30, FOX 61, and NEWS 8 all led their newscasts this morning with the One Year Anniversary of Superstorm Sandy. Channel 3 on the other hand led with a story about a fatal hostage stand-off in Waterford that happened last night and how that would be affecting traffic in the area this morning. To me a news story that happened last night is more important than a hurricane that happened a year ago. I kept checking and I didn't even hear about the stand-off in Waterford on NBC 30, FOX 61, or NEWS 8, though Maggie the fill-in traffic reporter on FOX 61 did mention the road closure on the traffic report.
