I haven't been through there recently and haven't happened upon it when tropo was active, but how is KETX-FM 92.3 sounding these days?
The last time I heard them (sometime last year) it was as awful as I had remembered: dead air, missed cues, sloppy production and bad audio. I also remember that they were in mono for years on end. Has anything changed?
Oh, and what about KETX 1440? A check of the FCC's "silent" list shows they've been off the air since May 7, 2006. The reason given on the STA application stated that a modulator tube socket was burned and they were having a hard time finding a replacement since it's an old transmitter. Ancient might be a better description, I'd suppose.
