And I cant imagine that anyone from B96 would be quick to point that out. All their listeners seem to have gone to 93.5/103.1

Chicago radio right now is stagnant. Chicago has its Jack FM now, they got their Oldies format back, CKG seems to be staying and there is no big new format lurking. The same stations will continue to be up and down, but I don't see any major moves in the future. What you see now maybe will be what you see in 2 to 3 more years on the dial.

I just got a subscription to Sirius and enjoying Chill. I wish that format were in Chicago, but given that it didn't rate and/or bill well in New York, I don't see it being on a Chicago station anytime soon.

Maybe you wont see any format changes per se (with the possible exception of WCKG), but the point of my post was that B96 has sunk WAY too much over the past year to stay stagnant. Something will change there soon if the next book doesn't improve.

A severe dip in ratings for a long time = less billing = people losing jobs and format tweeks.

This is not a time I would want to be working for B96. Look at the numbers. Theyre REALLY bad.
