Las Vegas The Vibe has joined The Revolution: ANCO acquires Heftel’s Highway Radio Stations.

Kinda funny that 99.7 HD2 is still just a loop of IT themed AI songs (probably created by Suno) for ISP.NET. The HD3 still features KNAC.
Sure is. And was one of the most entertaining things we heard at NAB. And I say this as someone who is not a fan of AI content.

I’m starting to like Revolution 99.7’s presentation so far (all music, zero commercials). Only time will tell if this approach will work but they must be making money without any advertising.

Outside of KHYZ, one has to wonder about both Highway Vibe and Highway Country.

is it still only KHYZ with the Dance Format, or have they added or plan on adding KRXV and KHWY in California as well .. or do they plan on it shortly, besides being on the HD2 as I've heard

Do any of them subscribe to Nielsen? Offhand I can't remember seeing them when I checked Vegas stats.

I had not seen this article. Very cool to get the actual story on the HD2 with ISP.NET.

It’d be nice to see 98.9 back in action especially with something unique like a dance format. I figured it’d come back on soon with new ownership but until recently I assumed it’d be back as the “Highway Vibe” hot AC format.

It’s been off-air since last October I do believe. They had the transmitter on broadcasting dead air during August and September…I’m assuming so potential buyers could hear the range of the station. I got a solid signal from the transmitter until going down the hill into Kingman from Golden Valley.

Otherwise, hardly a peep from 98.9 in the past 2.5 years since I moved to the area. I’m assuming based on the RadioInsight NAB article that Heftel had a tough time getting a digital signal to the far-flung transmitter sites, of which KHWY is by far the furthest (and most remote).
