The Vulcan: The Worst Station in the History of B'Ham?

When I listened to the Vulcan on my recent trip to Alabama for a good 20 minutes or so, my impression of it was that Clear Channel was trying to make an Active Rock station into a variety hits station-it sounds a lot like Louisville's 93.1 The Fox, with a much blander presentation. Honestly, I could have heard the same five songs on 100.5 Louie FM. I'm beginning to wonder if Clear Channel is trying to use a common hour clock at all of their stations, regardless of format.
