The war between Marble City Media and Shelby Broadcast Associates resumes

This was filed a few days ago by Marble City Media, owner of WFXO Stewartville (Sylacauga) regarding the license renewal of co-channel W252BE Tarrant (Birmingham), stating that W252BE's recent license renewal should be rescinded since the license had already expired and accordingly, there was no license to renew.

If the license for W252BE is rescinded, WAYE and WQCR will lose their FM outlet unless they can find another FM translator available in the area to rebroadcast WAYE. The only other translator/property that Shelby owns in Birmingham (that I'm aware of) is W256CD at 99.1 but that of course, is being leased to Iheart for "ALT 99.1". Maybe another Bham FM translator could be arranged to rebroadcast WAYE?
 
RDP, I saw the article a short while ago. I had an inkling that Shelby Broadcast Associates would attempt to sell (read: dump) W252BE to Rivera who owns WAYE. Question is...is there an actual license to transfer at this point? It doesn't appear the FCC has approved the translator's license renewal yet. Wondering if the FCC does wind up renewing and then approving the license transfer to Rivera whether WFXO will still be having issues with W252BE operating with facilities for which the translator is not licensed (broadcasting from more height, power, etc) and interfering with their signal.
