They missed the boat on Ben Tankard's "Week-End Forecast" That would have been a nice addition. It's on his latest CD "Let's Get Quiet: The Smooth Jazz Experience".

Maybe it will make the next one. This is only their first cd their planning on releasing more.I hope they will put that instrumental Journey song foolish heart on the next one.I don't know the artist that did it but I loved that one. This was played several years ago.I would also like to see them release a Holiday Christmas cd of some of the Christmas jazz songs the've played thru the years.

They will soon be releasing a compilation of Christmas Songs the've played. It still isn't up for preorder anywhere yet thou.

Consumers have long enjoyed the music on The Weather Channel. Now, The Weather Channel is making the popular music heard everyday on “Local on the 8’s” available for retail sale! The album, entitled The Weather Channel presents…Smooth Jazz, was released to select retailers on Tuesday, October 9th and is the first of many future music compilations including a Christmas/Holiday album later this year.
