Please somebody in the Dallas radio market say something about a station that is doing it the right way.

In this thread...No Russ, No Spittle, No talk about the good old days...

I like KAAM. Thousands of songs in their library and announcers that keep you company. News at the top of every hour. Old fashioned radio.

According to consultants, GM's, Market Managers, and PD's Jack Fm is "good".

Howard 100 and Howard 101 on Sirius/XM is STILL worth every penny...

If im to be honest, I would say that NPR has always been consistant, you know they'll be talk on a variety of topics and you always come out feeling more intellegent after listening to it for an hour.

On the sat side, Left Of Center and the Howard Channels give back a consistant product as well.

KKDA Morning man Willis Johnson is the best morning host in the market. Hands down. Joe Bagby and Hal Jay are 2 and 3. No one can match their longevity of doing morning drive radio in Dallas/Fort Worth. I dare anyone to say anything bad about these three gentlemen.

Seriously, I cant stand Hal Jay. I wont listen to WBAP in the mornings because of him. I wish Mark Davis would come on at 8AM so I can listen earlier. He sounds like a schlock jock dripping on the mic to me. That and he gets lost in his thoughts too often. He starts and stops sentences and then starts over in another direction far too often for me to tolerate. Maybe, I have OCD(along with several other issues :D), but it drive me nuts.
