They preempted that for this?

The presidential news conference started around 3:20 Eastern. FOX signed off first around 4:45, then NBC around 4:47, then CBS around 4:50. WCBS got the end of Judge Judy and WNYW got the end of TMZ Live. Like yesterday, ABC continued COVID-19 discussion amongst its reporters to fill the rest of the time slot and signed off at 5:00. Jeopardy! was fully pre-empted on WLS Chicago.

KNDO and KAPP interrupted the network special reports for local special reports on Jay Inslee's halt of schools and universities in WA state through April 24th and their further actions against Coronavirus in WA.
KIMA did not. BOOOOOOOOO. 'Taking Action for You', my a$$. In emergencies you don't care.

WBZ Boston (CBS O&O) once again pre-empted Wheel of Fortune but not Jeopardy! with Patriots All Access outside of NFL season, probably due to Tom Brady becoming a free agent next week. The out-of-season editions are only half an hour, and of course WBZ has made it very clear that they prefer Jeopardy!, so Wheel gets bumped to 2:07 AM.

Wheel was also mostly pre-empted on WOLO (ABC) in Columbia, SC due to a technical error where the station went off-air and only displayed a green screen for much of the 7:00 time slot. It wasn't fixed until the Bonus Round.

In New York, WABC and WNBC both broke in from 10:28-10:41 AM today for a press conference on the opening of a drive-thru COVID-19 testing center in New Rochelle. Tamron Hall and Hoda & Jenna were interrupted. WCBS and WNYW did not interrupt Let's Make a Deal and Wendy Williams.

I forgot to mentioned that WBZ-TV and KPIX-TV were taking over WCBS-TV's news operations along with KCAL/KCBS Los Angeles as CBS New York continues inspections and cleaning over COVID-19 scares. This could be another reason why WCBS could not switch to that press conference immediately. I know CBSN New York and National CBSN went with the Boston Marathon postponement press conference and the Massachusetts Press conference over COVID-19 response in their state.

In Hartford FOX 61 is rebroadcasting the 2019 Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade right now instead of 2 1/2 Men, which is what's on the program guide. Complete with the CW 20 logo of their sister station in the corner of the screen. I don't know what CW 20 aired in place of the parade this morning.

Over at WTNH 8 in New Haven, Jeopardy! and Wheel are airing at 5PM and 5:30PM respectively this evening due to them running that Operation Smile BS at 7PM. Tomorrow at 1PM they're airing Irish Heritage, which is highlights from previous editions of the New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Operation Smile also aired tonight at 7:00 on WCBS New York, bumping Entertainment Tonight to 5:00 AM Sunday morning. However, it was listed as two Paid Programmings. WFSB did air ET at 7:00.

This afternoon at 1:22 PM Eastern, WABC and WNYW (FOX) broke into programming (World of X Games on ABC and infomercials on FOX) for a press conference from NYC mayor Bill De Blasio, shortly after the first COVID-19-related death in NYC was confirmed. For no particular reason, WNYW signed off at 1:34 and switched back to infomercials in the middle of the conference, while WABC aired the entire thing. It was over sometime before 2:00, as "30 for 30" (replacing XFL) started uninterrupted. WCBS obviously did not air the conference, nor did WNBC.

at 10am this morning Big 4 broke into due to a conference with the Governor. Schools are closed from Wednesday-March 27th at least. Ended around 11:10

WCCO CBS lost 2nd half of Face the Nation, the local news and the start of the repeated basketball game. They dropped out first at 11:11
KSTP ABC lost At Issue (local political show), paid program and Midwest Outdoors. Went back at 11:15
KMSP FOX lost local news and part of a paid program. Went back 11:16
KARE NBC lost Joel Osteen (oh no!!), another religious show then my destination.tv..Went back 11:18

FOX 9 Minneapolis showed a 3 hour movie called Flags of Our Fathers them TMZ and Access Hollywood (between noon and 5)
FOX Mankato had I know a rerun of Judge Judy and Madam Secretary. I'll have to go through the recording since Tivo still showed NASCAR in the guide

WNYW New York had all infomercials from 11A-3P, followed by Andrew Young Presents, Whacked Out Sports x 2, In Depth with Graham Bensinger, and Raw Travel.

Whacked Out Sports? What's next, reruns of Beach Clash?

WABC, WNBC, and WNYW/FOX cut in this morning for a press conference from New York State governor Andrew Cuomo at 10:57 AM, cutting off the end of Tamron Hall, Hoda & Jenna, and Wendy Williams; Tamron and Wendy appeared to be repeats since they had audiences. WNBC already has a newscast at 11:00, but local show New York Live was pre-empted/cancelled for the day. Both WNBC and WNYW signed off around 11:49; the former aired local news and weather until 12:00, and the latter returned to The Real. WABC continued airing the conference until just before 12:00 and segued into the news at noon, so The View was pre-empted in full and it did not air on 7.2 Localish.
