This just in: Tyra and Judge Jeanine Pirro to trade places!

Coming Fall 2009: After four syndicated seasons, Tyra Banks' daytime show will air back-to-back on The CW (with a classic episode followed by an all-new episode). On the flip side bidding will begin on The CW's Judge Jeanine Pirro, as her second season will air in first-run syndication....

This will not sit well with a lot of FOX stations, where Tyra is a rather big draw for local advertisers. What's Warners going to do? Offer Judge Jeanine as a replacement??? I see a lot of unhappy station reps come this years NAPTE.

NY Chicago LA - it might not be that big change, but in Philly, its a big step down anytime something goes from Fox 29 to CW 57 or my17.

Are we sure this is a full syndication change? On the surface, this all sounds like something that will be mandated for CW Plus stations that are programmed at the network level.

Iowan had it right--Tyra's talk show will essentially segue into a daytime network show.

So, The CW may just give up on commissioning its own shows, and just become "The Tyra Channel"? Well, I guess Ms. Banks had to do something to counter Oprah's "OWN" network coming in 2009. :D
