You'd think the announcing teams would be the other way around. With all due respect to Cricks, NY/DAL is the bigger game of these two, plus it would have been interesting to hear Fassel do color on his former team (Giants) just as much as it would be to hear Marv call a game for a New York team.

Maybe they're giving Criqui the better game to make up for the fact that he had to call a woeful season of Notre Dame college football.

I presume that Boomer Esiason will rejoin Marv for the AFC title game next week.

But why does WPEN have these games on such a looooooong delay? I was listening to Colts-Chargers driving back from the shore this afternoon; when I started to lose WENJ I switched to WPEN and wound up hearing an entire play all over again. They must be 15 or 20 seconds behind.

The WW1 feed of the Giants game wasn't on the air in NYC, while the other game was (in its entirety on WBBR, and I think partially on WFAN until Giants pregame). Perhaps that's why the other game got the A announce team.
