Thoughts on ratings and wow look at those country legend numbers!!!

Wow see this is just proof to show you how radio one did not care at all about louisville. Poorly run company. Look how well the classic country station is doing and radio one failed at it for who knows why? They just didn't care.So there is a market for classic country. The new country not doing to badly but really no better when they were at 103.9.

The max seems to go up and down.Hot ac's don't ever seem to set the world on fire.

If the max gets rid of anyone i bet it would be arron miller whom i like and think is funny. Isn't he the most expendible or tommy lee?

Louie took a big hit. I see where wlrs is barely hanging on i bet they keep dropping like its hot or lol I wonder what will become of wlrs

Now fox get some live talent on the air!!!And whas get rid of michael savage. Not sayin to hire elliott back but christ someone sane would be nice!!!I would be shocked if whas got rid of francine or terry meiners. I still find terry funny.

I have been telling people that classic country is a viable format for 10 years. Radio One half assed it.

The format has potential. Louisville was one of the few markets where ABC/SMN's Real Country had ratings when it was on 98.9. 790 going Classic Country put the frequency back on the radar. The challenge is convincing the 25 year old female media buyer that she should buy the format.

Personally, between 103.1 and 103.9, 103.9 gave me music I hadn't heard in years on the radio. Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson are legends, yet not played on the radio much anymore. 103.1 is playing the same stuff I can here on at least 5 other stations up and down the dial. What sane person would think their ratings would improve putting the same stuff on the dial, jockless no less! Just another RI-pod (Radio-Ipod).
