Tim Conway Jr. (& Doug Steckler) filling for John & Ken starting Aug 10th

Seems the KFI brass are becoming more and more confident in Conway's abilities. At the very least more so than Brian Suits and that's a good thing.

Agreed! Could KFI have a new (returned) show after John & Ken? When was Conway & Stekler on during the evening? IMHO it would be a perfect fit and a fitting return. :)

Oddly enough Conway & Steckler ran from 7pm-11pm on KLSX during their run if your question wasn't being rhetorical. I've always championed Timmy Conway. Steckler is just that extra bonus layer of frosting that makes the cake sweeter.
 
And now with Dr. Laura moving from KFI to KFWB as of Tue. Sept. 8 (see thread on KFWB Transitioning to News/Talk), could this open up a spot for Tim???

I guess: scratch that for now. According to LARadio.com, Bill Handel gets a second daily show on KFI from 12 Noon-2PM, while continuing his morning show.

I would guess Bill's second show is a temporary move until KFI can finalize the post-Laura schedule.
 
WHile they are thinking about 12-2 or even 12 -3, I have two words: Glenn Beck.

As for C&S, they would be a perfect fit, and a lot better than K&S right now. Besides, off all the guys at KLSX, Conway was usually the one you can depend on to do station promos, spots, and thinks like that. (At least to my recollection).
