Tis the season for changes in Little Rock area radio

Well, it doesn't sound like a radical change, but the first change of the post Christmas period for 2010/2011 occurred when Mix 106.3 slightly segued to FM 1063, the River. From what it sounds like, the "new" 106.3 is more Adult Contemporary than it was before and a little less talking in the morning, otherwise, it seems to be the same.

Just a slight change in a shade of lipstick. Another forgettable LR station that will flip in about 2 years or less.

Yes (FM, TV, AM BCB, plus occasional SW listening and amateur radio).

As for KOLL, I listened to their stunting on Sunday afternoon. The music choices were quite diverse which made the format change Monday morning anti-climatic, as in...."That's all?". I heard Willie Nelson's "Whiskey River" more on the radio in that 18 hour stretch than I've heard in at least 15 years.

Crain Media Searcy's KEAZ, 100.7 FM has tweaked their programming to be a more "play everything" type of station. Also, KWCK 99.9 changed their logo, but not their programming.
