Title/band name tags at end of songs

Some of the top radio stations in the country broadcast a title/band name tag for every song at the end of the song. What is your feeling about this?

I know two radio station networks in our area that do it, More FM, 101.1; and LIFT FM which consists of several stations in South Jersey. Are there more?

Back around 2008, the ill-fated Now 97.5(WNUW) did that for a little bit. They are now WPEN-FM as all- sports talk, "97.5 the Fanatic."

I think it's awful. I think it's obtrusive and sounds weird and unnatural. It always struck me as odd that WBEB went to the effort of of adding song tags but they never bothered to use RDS to display title and artist. Of course, they're unstoppable so they can pretty much do whatever they want.
