It's not official til about 1:30 cst. but it's the plan that I think has been coming for five years now.
With a name base talent (Hogan, Flair, Foley, Bischoff, Angle) and some veteran in-house stars (Styles, Joe, Daniels) the time is now for them to compete with WWE.
That being said the WWE may not care less about it, as they plan to launch NXT to replace the faltering ECW brand on Syfy as well as launching a new network in 2011.
But if this becomes a success for TNA, I would think that they would try their best to focus on making Raw a better show than it is now.
The guest host gimmick is a hit or miss at times for me, and the TV-PG style show can only last unless TNA beats them in the ratings on a regular basis.
However, it will not happen until at least the start of March.
So both companies have plenty of time to strategized their plans for a new monday night war ;D!
