Also Best Buy has an their Insignia brand HD radio; it is FM only; so they are out there to buy; either online or in Best Buy.

I once had an Insignia and this operates basically the same. I now have one of these AudioVox radios, and it's got good sensitivity.

Thanks for the link, that armband HD radio looks interesting; how is it’s sensitivity? The current HD radio that is available at Best Buy in the St. Pete/Tampa area is a table to; it’s size is about midway between the Sangean 14HD and Sangean 16HD and like the armband radios is FM only.

Disregard my question about sensitivity; that’s what I get for posting before the first cup of coffee! I have recently moved and where before I was 21 miles from the Tampa’s antenna farm (Riverview,FL); now I am 59 miles away and about 62 miles from the Orlando antenna farm, so sensitivity that didn’t matter before, is a concern now a big concern.

I once heard an HD signal in Tulsa that sounded so loud I guess at leastt 500% volume it was supposed to be. Lots of clicking noise with the beat of the music LOL.

I heard that station once. I assumed the ‘music’ was supposed to sound like that. 🤣

Sensitivity is as good as the Insignia. They're the exact same radio just with a different outer shell and different buttons. The buttons are even in the same places.
