Yes, he's very good at what he does, and credible. As with quite a few other departures from the broadcast media lately, it sounds like he wants to step away from the daily demands and intensity of a newsroom.

I don't know for sure, of course, but I'd be willing to speculate that Alexandra Lewis would move into the early evening anchor slots.
