Tom Sullivan quitting radio at end of May and starting podcast

My question is can he make more money with a podcast versus a syndicated radio show?

Maybe. I wouldn't put "Talk Media Network" on the same level as Premiere. He won't make as much as Dan Bongino. TBH I've never heard of this guy. He may be big in Sacramento, but that won't be enough to make money as a podcaster. If he can somehow say something or do something that moves the needles outside of Sacramento, it might help. But unless he can get thousands of subscribers, it won't even begin to get money. The real money doesn't start until you hit about 100K subscribers. Bongino had millions. That's the pool he's splashing around in.

Mr. Sullivan's show, and Talk Media network as a whole, have very few high profile affiliates. In fact, I'd say KFBK is the only high profile affiliate of this show.

So yeah, he could probably do better financially purely as a podcast. But he probably won't. There's plenty of established conservative podcasts out there, and I'm not sure there's a lot of demand for another.

It will be just as "popular" and a decision made with great wisdom like Cigar Dave did and isn't Cigar Dave so much more popular now!
